I have been running a small Adwords campaign with a low max cpc (cost per click) to get my site noticed. It is only a small campaign compared to some of my others, but hey.
I don’t think it is the best way to get traffic (the best way is free!), but at the moment, I’m just trying it out. I’ll get rid of it when Aesop’s Fables gets onto page 2.
