I found out some awesome news yesterday (9/11) – the http://www.aesopresources.com ranking in Google has now climbed to 39th out of 1.7 million sites. It’s been slowly creeping up the rankings, but this is just awesome. I now have only 38 more sites to be better than, and I’m number 1. Oh, sorry, that was for the major keyword “Aesop’s Fables”.
Some people might be saying “who cares, it’s only Aesop’s Fables, why are you so excited”. For me, it is not about the fables. There are plenty (1.7 million) sites out there with fables on them. I am using this as a “guinea pig” site to learn all about Search Engine Optimization and various ways of promoting the site.
